Seven old friends are brought together again when their eighth friend commits suicide, and they learn just how much they've all changed in the process.

I feel like I survived the ‘60s.

I missed the decade by five months, having been born in May of 1970. Growing up, though, I was soaked in baby boomer pop culture. It was unavoidable, and one of the biggest milestones in the rise of the endless re-examination of each and every second of that decade was Lawrence Kasdan’s The Big Chill.
